Northwestern Claims GPAC Crown

The Northwestern Red Raiders shot a final round 289 to claim the 2017-18 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men’s Golf Championship.

The final round was played in Eagle, Nebraska, at Woodland Hills. The Red Raiders totaled 1152 over 72 holes (+16).

Justin Kraft from Northwestern was the overall medalist with a four round total of 282 (-2). Cody Holck of Morningside was second with a 286 (+2), while Joe Vest from Midland placed third with a 287 (+3). Colton Kooima from Northwestern shot the low round on Tuesday with a 68.

Morningside was second in the team race with a 1161, while Doane placed thirdt with a 1174.
Northwestern qualifies to represent the GPAC at the 67th NAIA Men’s Golf Championships May 15-18, 2018, in Silvis, Illinois, at TPC Deere Run.
