Blizzard conditions are expected to develop over a wide area of the northern plains in the Missouri River valley from North Dakota to northern Nebraska.
Andrew Kalin at the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says it will start as rain……
While the snow track is becoming more certain, Kalin says that can still move……
Kalin says strong winds will cause hazardous conditions……
Expected snow ranges from seven inches around Yankton, to a foot or more in the Pierre and Mobridge areas.
