Dairy producers in Nebraska, South Dakota and Iowa are dumping milk. That’s according to Kris Bousquet, Executive Director of the Nebraska State Dairy Association.
He says the problem is all tied to the COVID 19 pandemic.
Bousquet says a major part of the dilemma is that there are less places to ship the milk.
Bousquet says his group along with other dairy groups have asked USDA for assistance in buying excess dairy products.
