Top seed Northern State and longshot Minnesota State Mankato will play for the Northern Sun Conference men’s basketball title Tuesday.

The No. 21 Northern State men’s basketball team (25-6, 19-4 NSIC) took down the MSU Moorhead Dragons (19-12, 13-10 NSIC) 81-65 on Tuesday afternoon to advance to their third straight championship game.

The Minnesota State men’s basketball team punched its ticket to the NSIC Tournament Championship game Monday afternoon as it bested Minnesota Duluth 79-73 at the Sanford Pentagon.

With the win the Mavericks improve to 17-14, while the Bulldogs drop to 22-9.
