Northeast Nebraska in Line for Major Water Development Projects

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts announced a seven hundred-million-dollar water development plan this week.
Most of the money would be used for irrigation and recreational project along the Platte River.

Senator Tim Gragert of Creighton was part of the so called “Star Wars” planning committee and says northeast Nebraska could also see some significant development….

Gragert says the southside of Lewis & Clark Lake would see a major upgrade….

Gragert says Niobrara State Park would also see improvements…..

Most of the projects would be funding by federal Covid-19 relief funds.
