A pair of property rights bills came up before North Dakota State legislators on Friday with both moving forward. One was in the Senate Ag Committee and had to do with posting. North Dakota Stockmens Association Executive Vice President Julie Ellingson says her group backs that measure.

She says the Senate bill, SB 2315, deals with trespassing issues.

Ellingson says another property rights measure they’re watching is in the House. She says that involves cameras placed on ag land.

Ellingson says her group’s members want both HB 1503 and SB 2315 to pass.
