North Dakota Farmers Union Holding Convention This Week

Transportation and rail issues to the agenda for North Dakota Farmers Union members at their state convention this week. President Mark Watne says some of the bottlenecks have eased but they’re hoping for more improvements with additional rail cars and better service for ag commodities.
Watne says their convention runs tonight through Saturday in Fargo and they’ll hear from a noted Ag Futurist, learn more about a new fertilizer plant being constructed in the state and get an issues update from their state’s congressional delegation.
He says they’ll also elect a President and Vice President and that he’s running for re election.
