The President of the North Dakota Farm Bureau says the District Court Judge’s decision on the state’s corporate farming law had mixed results. Daryl Lies says their group and their legal team has been and is continuing to review the 39 page decision.

The North Dakota Farm Bureau had filed a lawsuit on the corporate farming law saying it’s unconstitutional. Lies says the Judge agreed with some of their contentions and disagreed with some others.

He says the North Dakota Corporate farming law is discriminatory in that it singles out a ban on agriculture.

Lies says they’re considering all of their options including a possible court appeal. The Judge’s decision kept the state’s corporate farming law in place.
