The capital campaign to raise $4.7 million for the new Nordby 4-H Exhibit Hall at the South Dakota State Fairgrounds in Huron is close to completion. SDSU 4-H Youth Program Director Peter Nielson says they’re within $200,000 of their overall goal.

He says State Fair Foundation officials are hoping to complete their fundraising before the end of the year.

Nielson says those wishing to donate can go to the State Fair Foundation website or give them a call.

Nielson says they’re excited to have the new facility to serve not only the 4-Hers but other regional events as well.
