Non-Meandered Lake Issue Coming Back to the South Dakota Legislature

There will be a number of carry over issues for South Dakota legislators this year.
A compromise bill over access to non-meandered lakes was approved in a special session last summer. Governor Dennis Daugaard has suggested that bill be extended for three more years.

The issue was over public access to lakes that had flooded onto private land.
