The Corps of Engineers is predicting higher than average run off into the Missouri River this summer, but it should stay well below flood stage.
During their monthly conference call update, Kevin Stom an engineer in the Corps water control office in Omaha said they have adjusted their forecasts…
Stom says run off has increased in the past couple of months…
Engineer Alex Flanagan says there is plenty of water storage space in the upstream reservoirs…
Forecasters also said during the call that precipitation across the Missouri River basin is expected to be above normal the next three months.
