A bill that would delay implementation of the medicinal marijuana initiative in South Dakota for at least a year will be debated on the House floor next week.

The bill would set up a task force to study the issue and come up with rules and regulations.

Representative Erin Healy of Sioux Falls says state government has been slow to react…

Healy, assistant minority whip, says there was enough time to get the initiative into law…

Healy says it continues a troubling pattern….

Amendment “A” which legalized recreational marijuana was also approved by voters but has been suspended awaiting further court action.
