As the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump approaches, there is debate over the outline and if witnesses should be called.
Former National Security Advisor John Bolton has said he would testify if called.

South Dakota Senator John Thune says that is one option..

Thune says House democrats had a chance to hear from Bolton…

Thune says they will start with what ever the House presents to them….

The trial in the Senate could start by the middle of next week, depending on when the Articles of Impeachment are delivered.
