It appears that Congress may run into a budget roadblock this week in their rush to adjourn for the year.
Negotiations over a one point one trillion dollar budget deal are pretty much at a dead halt as republicans and democrats scuffle over related policy issues.
South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says democrats are not allowing many riders to be added to the budget bill….

Rounds says they have not had a lot of debate over the actual budget bills….

Rounds says this is setting the stage for some major changes in how they do budgets next year…..

The current government funding bill runs out this Friday, and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy says an agreement is unlikely by then.
