NMPF Wants Dairy Spat With Canada Resolved In New NAFTA

National Milk Producer Federation officials want whatever’s ironed out in the new North American Free Trade Agreement to address the problem of Canadian milk that’s flooding the global market. Federation’s Chris Galen says that problem has worsened and must be resolved.

He says dairy producers around the world are being negatively impacted by that dumping.

Galen says the overall NAFTA agreement needs to be brought up to speed with new technologies and developments.

NAFTA renegotiation talks started on Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
