President Trump announced Immigrations and Custom Enforcement will be conducting multiple raids on undocumented immigrants in the next several days. That has several agricultural groups concerned that depend on immigrant labor for their operations. Alan Bjerga with the National Milk Producers Federation says the ICE raids are problem even for groups that have legal workers.

He says when the administration proceeds with the ICE enforcement against undocumented workers it will show the dire need to solve the immigrant labor problem.

Bjerga says the National Milk Producers Federation is continuing to work with Congress to find immigration legislation that can pass.

Bjerga says they’re also monitoring immigration legislation being sponsored by Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren of California.
