The National Grain and Feed Association recently wrapped up its 125th annual meeting. President and CEO Mike Seyfert says they’re now focusing on four major areas to work on for the coming year.

He says their members want more market access in Southeast Asia and also are watching to see what happens with trade with Mexico.

Seyfert says they also heard from the Chair of the Surface Transportation Board and the CEO of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad regarding rail access and rate issues.

Seyfert says they also want to see a bi-partisan infrastructure bill passed that includes upgrades to the inland waterway system for shipping of commodities.
