After losing their battle to strike down TPA, the next trade objective for the National Farmers Union is stop the Trans Pacific Partnership from going forward without some major changes. NFU President Roger Johnson says for trade to work, problems like the deficit and currency manipulation must be addressed.

Johnson says it will take some time for negotiators to complete TPP and he says as that process plays out it should become more transparent.

The Trans Pacific Partnership is the linchpin deal for the Obama administration and the recent TPA approval allows the President to finalize the treaty to present to Congress.
