There could be three maybe four issues President Obama may find to agree with Congress on regarding agriculture following his State of the Union Address this week. National Farmers Union President Roger Johnson says the best likelihood would be tax reform and possibly an outside chance on partial addressing of the climate change problem.
Johnson says another possible area of agreement between President Obama and Congress may be at least partial headway on trade with Cuba.
Johnson says the fourth area may involve passage of Trade Promotion Authority although his group and many Democrats oppose it.
