The National Farmers Union is pleased that Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt has resigned. NFU Biofuels Advisor Anne Steckel says she’s looking forward to working with Interim EPA Head Andrew Wheeler. She says Wheeler has experience with fuel and energy issues, having once worked at Growth Energy, and that will serve him well leading the agency.

She says her group will work with Wheeler to continue to educate him on biofuel issues.

Steckel says NFU’s top priority is convincing Wheeler not to grant any more RFS hardship waivers to refiners.

Steckel says their other goal is getting the EPA to grant year-round use of E15.
