The full text of the Trans Pacific Partnership has been released and the National Farmers Union still has concerns with the deal. NFU Senior Vice President of Programs Chandler Goule says the TPP agreement is a bad deal for both farmers and ranchers.
Goule says the fast track authority limits Congress ability to fix the problems in TPP. He says because of that they’re asking Congress to vote down TPP.
He says TPP creates more questions than solutions, especially with all the bilateral deals the U.S. already has with other countries.
Goule says his group will continue to analyze the text of the TPP and share any additional concerns they have with Congress.
