National Farmers Union members meeting in Santa Fe, New Mexico are continuing their support for Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling.  Minnesota Farmers Union Vice President Gary Wertish says not only is that good for consumers, it’s also beneficial for producers.

Wertish is confident the World Trade Organization will rule in favor of the United States and its rewritten Country of Origin Labeling law and turn back the challenge from Canada and Mexico.

The WTO is expected to issues its ruling sometime late this spring or early this summer.
