The National Farmers Organization is calling for a moratorium on all farm foreclosures and the establishment of one federal milk marketing order. NFO President Paul Olson says those are needed due to the impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic.

He says the COVID 19 pandemic has created widespread economic losses for all segments of agriculture.

Olson says if there were only one federal milk marketing order it would simplify things for dairy producers and create a better market situation.

Olson says their federal milk marketing plan would use a reformulation to pay an additional $4.00 per hundredweight on the first one million pounds of milk produced on America’s farms each month.
