Newcomer Dan Klimisch Finishes First in the Yankton County Commission Republican Primary

Dan Klimisch finished first in the five way Yankton County Commission republican primary. Klimisch got 1652 votes, with incumbent Todd Woods second with 1260 votes, and incumbent Deb Bodenstedt third with 1142 votes. Those three advance to the November general election.

While confined livestock production was a big issue in the primary campaign, Klimisch says he doesn’t see himself as the “anti-CAFO” candidate……

There will be a total of six candidates for three seats on the November ballot.
