Another wind power farm is in the planning stages in south east South Dakota.
The Prevailing Winds project would be built near Avon in Bon Homme County.

Nelson says while power lines are one issue, finding a market for the wind power is a bigger obstacle…..

Nelson says this project seems to be in a good location…..

The PUC will hold a public hearing on the wind farm on August 24th at Avon High School.
