Agriculture could be the biggest beneficiary of the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement.
Nebraska Agriculture Director Greg Ibach says Nebraska farmers and ranchers could see great opportunity once TPP brings down tariffs against American agricultural goods. . .
Ibach says the recent trade mission to Japan emphasized the importance of tariffs on trade. He says Japanese importers said lower prices through lower tariffs would make Nebraska beef and pork, in particular, more attractive….
Congress will have to debate and approve TPP, possibly next spring.
