One of the biggest changes newly elected Senators find is the need to get up to speed on international issues.

For South Dakota Senator-elect Mike Rounds, he says he knew he needed some people around him with more experience in those areas.

Rounds says he did have some chances to travel abroad while serving two terms as Governor.

Rounds says he is already finding that there is much more detail on issues to deal with.

Rounds will be sworn in next week to begin his six year term.
