Employers have the opportunity to identify early signs and symptoms of a substance use disorder and help connect employees to treatment and recovery supports through a new Opioid Epidemic Response: Employer Tool Kit. The new resource was created jointly by the Minnesota Department of Health and Minnesota Business Partnership

Charlie Weaver executive director of the Minnesota Business Partnership says the toolkit includes five concrete actions employers can take in preventing and addressing substance use disorder within a workplace.
