The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Commission has picked Chris Donlin of Pickstown as the new operator of the Lewis & Clark Marina near Yankton.
The commission awarded Donlin a ten year lease to run the facility on Lewis & Clark Lake.
Donlin says he brings a lot of experience to the new location…
Donlin has operated Donlin Marine in Pickstown for over seventeen years.
He says he wants to work with people that use the marina on a summer long basis…
There are over four hundred seasonal boat slips, a convenience store, and a full service restaurant at the marina.
Donlin says he is looking for help in running the restaurant…
The lease will go into effect once the financing is in place and the transfer of assets is done. Donlin says he is already looking for employees in all areas of the marina.
