The sign outside the CenturyLink Center Arena and Convention Center in Omaha will be coming down later this year and replaced with a new name.  As of September 1st, the building will be called the C-H-I Health Center Omaha.  C-H-I CEO Cliff Robertson says they view this as an opportunity to invest in the community.

Robertson says the facility aligns with their mission to serve and build healthy community opportunities.

The name change will take effect on September 1st.  The agreement is for $23.5 million over the course of a 20 year term.  Officials promise that concerts, large scale conventions and nationally renowned events will continue at the facility.  C-H-I Health will also use the center to give back to its employees, patients, neighbors and academic partner – Creighton University.
