The South Dakota Board of Regents approved a new mission and name for their Sioux Falls location.

Originally known as the University Center it was later named the Community College for Sioux Falls. It will now be called USD – Sioux Falls.

Gestring says they will focus on workforce education and development…..

Gestring told the board it could take three to five years to get to a financial break even….

Gestring says they will first focus on high school students in the Sioux Falls area along with nontraditional students.
