The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) board last week approved state incentives for a railcar maintenance facility. I-E-D-A spokesperson, Tina Hoffman, says the railcar facility will be built in western Iowa.
Hoffman says the company won an award that is specific to cities on Iowa’s borders.
The company says 160 of the new jobs will pay around 17 dollars an hour.
