The Missouri Sedimentation Action Coalition has named Scott Kostal of Springfield as their Executive Director. He takes over for Sandy Stockholm, who will stay as communications director.
Kostal says he has had a lifelong interest in the Missouri River…..

Kostal says they want to soon see some actual sedimentation mitigation in the river and Lewis & Clark Lake….

The delta, mostly from the Niobrara River has been advancing in the lake about four hundred feet a year.
