A new group has been formed to work on renewable and clean energy issues. New Energy America Executive Director Mike Carr who formerly worked on the Senate Energy Committee says his organization is focused on showing policy makers the economic and job benefits renewable energy brings to the economy.

He says his group wants federal policy makers to provide stability and consistency for the renewable fuels industry.

Carr says New Energy America will be pushing Congress and the EPA to support the RFS with enhanced volume levels and to provide funding for renewable energy development programs.

Carr says New Energy America wants positive policies for everything from ethanol to biodiesel to solar and wind energy.
