A new American Coalition for Ethanol video was unveiled at the Western Petroleum Marketers Expo in Las Vegas this week. ACE Senior Vice President and Market Development Director Ron Lamberty says the video targets retailers and encourages them to offer E15 due to the market potential for the new ethanol product, compared to premium blends and even diesel.
He says as far as market potential nationally there are 18 million cars that are supposed to run on premium fuel and 7 million vehicles that use diesel. However, the number of vehicles approved for E15 is much greater than that.
Lamberty says they hope if they show retailers the math behind E15, more will offer it.
Lamberty says they’ll be showing their video at several other trade shows across the country this year.
