A new director has brought a new perspective to the Nebraska State Fair.
Director Lori Cox, who came to Nebraska from Montana, has been impressed by the facilities, built in 2010 when the fair moved from Lincoln to Grand Island.
Cox says there won’t be much rest for the staff even though the fair has ended.
Cox says the fairgrounds can broaden its reach by hosting more livestock shows throughout the year.
