In just a few short weeks the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center on the campus of the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha will open for patients. Dr. Abbey Fingeret is a surgical oncologist and came from Boston to join the medical specialists. She is very impressed with what is being done at UNMC on several levels.

Fingeret is also impressed on how this facility will serve patients.

Fingeret says as a physician and a researcher the new center has a supportive environment that supports the care of patients with cutting edge clinical medicine but also the development of new techniques with research.
