One Nebraskan has already died of the flu this season and state officials say they should prompt residents to get the flu shot.

State Epidemiologist, Dr. Tom Safranek, says while some might not take the flu seriously, those who have had it do. . .

Safranek says indications are it could be a difficult flu season. . .

Safranek says it can take two-to-four weeks for a healthy person to recover from the flu. Those in poor health often have to be hospitalized.

He says the best prevention is to get a flu shot.
