Gonzales says Nebraskans pay one of the highest real estate property taxes in the country. Nebraska ranks 45th in the nation.
One reason given is Nebraska doesn’t have the population numbers needed to keep taxes lower. Gonzales says that shouldn’t matter….
Colorado and Wyoming’s real estate property tax ranking tied at 8th, South Dakota came in 36th, Kansas 37th and Iowa 38th.
