Thousands of people from around the world will be in Nebraska on August 21st for the solar eclipse. Kristin Testin is the planetarium instructor at the University of Nebraska – Omaha and says the state is in the path of totality and it stretches from the northwest to the southeastern part of the state. She says this is going to be a spectacular stellar event.
Testin says they want people to be prepared for the eclipse and says eye safety is a big concern.
Testin says this is where your grandmother was right – you will burn your eyes if you look directly at the sun.
