All Nebraskans are invited to the Eastern Nebraska Research and Extension Center near Mead next Thursday, (June 29th) for an open house.  Don Adams from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is the center’s director and says their goal is to open up the center and let people see what research is being done at the location along with technology.  There will be several speakers, lunch and then visitors will see several demonstrations including carbon farming.

Adams says the event will feature several research projects.

Adams says anyone who has an interest in research, technology and agriculture is invited to attend the event.  They do ask that participants preregister and can do so by logging on to extension.unl.edu.
