Some Nebraskans who depend on well water, and companies who dig those wells, have a new resource.
The State Geological Survey reviewed more than 4,000 active wells tapped into Nebraska’s secondary aquifers.
Study co-author Dana Divine says well owners can find out about the source of their water supply and its quality.
Divine says the report highlights the occurrence of arsenic, uranium, and sulfate in some water.
