The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is once again holding workshops for women to learn more about the outdoors. The Becoming an Outdoors Woman program was developed in 1991 to teach women skills needed for outdoor activities. Peggy Kapeller is an administrative assistant in the communications division and says the event is open to all interested ladies.
The event includes workshops that teach skills needed for activities such as kayaking, fishing, archery, game cleaning, and shooting sports while in a group setting.
The BOW workshops will be held October 3-5 and registration can be done at NebraskaBOW.com.
