Legal issues have been resolved and Nebraska voters will decide whether to expand Medicaid.

Insure the Good Life campaign manager Meg Mandy says she was thrilled that the state Supreme Court rejected the challenge to the issue, now officially known as Measure 427. Mandy says the legal challenges to the issue didn’t affect the campaign

Mandy understands the burden is on the group to persuade voters.

The legislature has refused to expand Medicaid under provisions of the Affordable Care Act. It would expand Medicaid to approximately 90-Thousand Nebraskans.
