A glimmer of good news in an otherwise gloomy outlook for western Nebraska veterans seeking medical care
Congressman Adrian Smith says a final environmental impact statement proposes a community-based outpatient clinic at Hot Springs, South Dakota…rather than a complete closing of the VA hospital there used by western Nebraska veterans.
Smith says if it were to close, western Nebraska veterans would be forced to drive another hour to Rapid City, South Dakota. . .
Smith says he wants to see a new approach to the VA under the Trump Administration.
