Though the state unemployment rate in Nebraska rose slightly last month, state officials aren’t too concerned.
The state rate rose by a tenth of a percent to settle at 3-point-6 percent in July.

Albin points out the July state unemployment rate is nearly half a percentage point below year ago figures, the 11th straight month the unemployment rate dropped from the same month a year ago.
