Nebraska To Submit Disaster Request

Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman says state officials will be submitting a request for a presidential disaster declaration for areas of Nebraska hit hard by tornadoes and storms last month.
Heineman says the request for Pilger and other areas comes on the heels of a recent disaster declaration. . .

Heineman says that, understandably, much of the focus has been on Pilger. . .

A presidential disaster declaration has been issued for the damage left in the wake of storms that hit Beaver Crossing, Cordova, and Sutton May 11th, causing 20-Million dollars in damage.
The storms in June caused much more damage.
