Nebraska To Host International Conference

Nebraska which exports $ 454 million worth of ag products to Japan has been chosen to host the 2018 Japan US Midwest International Conference. Wednesday, Governor Dave Heineman made the announcement.
Heineman says Nebraska has several Japanese companies operating in their state. He says Kawasaki has been there for 40 years and that has led to five Japanese parts companies locating their businesses, some agricultural in the corn husker state.
He says there are several factors that have led the Japanese companies to come to Nebraska putting it at the top of business friendliness in the United States.
Heineman says Nebraska this year was named the number one state with the most economic development business projects on a per capita basis.
