Officials are gearing up for the Nebraska Wind and Solar Conference which will be held November 7 and 8 in Lincoln. Nebraska Farmers Union President John Hansen says they’ve been holding the event since 2008 and will have speakers coming from all over the country.
He says they’ve been making tremendous progress in Nebraska with their wind development projects.
Hansen says there are several regulatory and legislative challenges that need to be overcome to advance a wind energy project.
