Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol are excited to kick off another season of Friday Night Lights. Patrol spokesperson Deb Collins says troopers will be attending high school football games across the state to focus on an important message.

Collins says their goal is to provide students and their families with firsthand knowledge of what can happen when you don’t wear your seat belt.

Schools wanting to request a Friday Night Lights demonstration can contact their local State Patrol Troop Headquarters located in Omaha, Lincoln, Norfolk, Grand Island, North Platte and Scottsbluff.
